Don’t Pack on the Pounds

We all like to have fun; whether it’s going out or staying in. But sometimes this fun can make our pants shrink, or at least this is what we tell ourselves to make us feel better. While were out having fun many times we don’t think that we can have fun without packing on the pounds. When that happens we decide to give up flavor to keep on our diet. But what if you could have flavor and save on calories? With a few adjustments you can have the flavors that you love while still making sure that your pants fit the next day.

 

To do this it is simple, first off you can start with the most commonly known, by drinking less beer. From there you can take away all added sugar in the actual alcohol. To not take away from the flavor of the mix that is used try to eliminate all the extras in the alcohol, leave the all the flavor to the mix. While picking out mixes, try to get ones that are natural, have no high fructose corn syrup. If you’re a person that likes to have some bubbles in their drinks, try adding sparkling water. While some have flavors you don’t have to get the flavored ones and they have no added sugar. Lastly, you can always use fruit to make your smoothie like drinks. Throw some of your favorite mix into a blender, fruit that compliments it, ice and alcohol blend and enjoy. Whether it’s a night out on the town or a night in, you can give up the pounds without giving up the flavor.
