4 Cocktails for National Chocolate Day
The United States has many days dedicated to certain things. While there are the commonly known ones like Mother’s Day, Independence Day and Thanksgiving, there are some that aren’t quite as well known. October 28th is national chocolate day and so we though there is no better way to celebrate this lesser known day than with a few chocolate cocktails.
Chocolate Martini
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Chocolate liquor
.5 oz Vodka
Ice
Method:
Shake together the ice, liquor and vodka for 15 seconds. Pour into a glass drizzled with chocolate syrup, garnish with chocolate shavings, serve and enjoy!
Chocolate Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Chocolate Whiskey
.5 oz Simple Syrup
.25 oz Bitters
Ice
Method:
Shake together all of the ingredients for 15 seconds. Pour into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with chocolate orange slice, serve and enjoy!
Chocolate Milkshake
Ingredients:
.75 Cup Milk
.25 Cup Chocolate Syrup
.5 oz Chocolate Liquor
3 Scoops Chocolate Ice Cream
Method:
Blend together all of the ingredients until the chunks are gone. Pour into a chocolate syrup drizzled glass, garnish with a chocolate straw, serve and enjoy!
Chocolate Mojito
Ingredients:
2 TSP Brown sugar
1 TSP Melted Dark Chocolate
.5 oz Rum
.25 oz Creme de Cacao
Mint Leaves
Ice
Method:
Shake together all of the ingredients for 15 seconds. Pour into a chocolate drizzled glass filled with ice. Garnish with mint leaves and chocolate shavings, serve and enjoy!
