Make your Own Restaurant Quality Cocktails at Home
Dates are fun; they are a reason to get dressed up, there’s nice food and those fancy drinks that you can’t seem to make at home but always look and taste really good. The problem is that sometimes the best dates are the ones you have at your own house. Whether your having a date night at home with your significant other, friends or even by yourself, you can now have those fancy drinks at home.
- Garnish like crazy, the reason that the drinks look so nice are the fun little fruits and stir sticks that are on top.
- Restaurants always seem to have the coolest glasses. Instead of buying expensive glasses, use mixers that have color in them or decorate the inside of the glass with things like chocolate syrup to make it more interesting.
- Use the more expensive alcohol. Save your two-buck-chuck for a day when you don’t care as much about the drink.
- Don’t be afraid to try something new. One of the nicest things about going out for drinks are the plethora of different drinks.
- Use shaped ice. There are so many ice trays that now come have different shapes. If you boil the water before you freeze it, it makes it clearer. If you don’t want to have to but a special ice tray, put fruit inside your ice tray before you fill it up.
- Serve your date and yourself the drinks at a table. The ambience will help make the drink look even more appealing.
- Name your drink something special, that way you’re not just making a simple drink with the ingredients in the name.
