Some of the most well known crawls in Reno are Zombie and Santa but this Saturday is the Superhero crawl. The Superhero crawl allows you to dress as your favorite superhero, or even favorite villain, and hit the town. One of the hardest parts about this crawl however is making your costume. Here are some helpful hits for making costumes quick and cheap!

1. Keep it simple, it doesn’t matter if there are 20 of the same superheroes
2. Make parts of your costumes out of old household items, cereal boxes are easy to paint
3. Only buy things that you can use again for another costume
4. If you can make it, don’t buy it
5. Make your costumes with others, use their creativity to help
6. Look at what you have in your closet before you decide what you’re going to be
7. Look at your friends Halloween costumes, they may have something you can wear
