Tips, Tricks and Recipes to Make Moving Back to School More Fun
It’s here, the time of year when all of the college students start to head back. People are driving from all over and everyone seems to be renting U-Haul’s to get everything into their new houses or apartments. While moving can be fun, for the most part is isn’t. It is a lot of work and can take upwards to a week if you have other things that need to be done as well. While moving Mt Rose Drinks wanted to make it a little more fun so we put together a few tips and two recipes to help make moving more fun.
Tips and Tricks
- After emptying a box, take a sip of your favorite cocktail
- Put everything on your bed that you want to get through that day so you can’t go to sleep until it’s done
- Put all of the boxes in the rooms that they belong in so you aren’t looking all around for things
- Don’t save decorating for last, making a wall more appealing to look at makes putting clothes and other small items away seem easier
- See what you have before going out and buying more
- It’s a great time to go through tour clothes, the more you get rid of the less you have to put away
- Make sure to have a drink nearby when you’re done so you can sit, sip and enjoy all of your hard work
- Reward yourself as you do the worst tasks
- Try not to have all the roommates move in on the same day, the less people with boxes the less likely things will get lost
